Welcome to Kikino School!

Where we believe in holistic education today... contributing citizens tomorrow!

Kikino School was built in 1989 and provided ECS to grade 6 education. Today, the school provides ECS to grade 8 education to approximately 100 students. Kikino School prides itself on delivering education that bridges curriculum and community. This is done through fine arts programming including metis jig, fiddling, and guitar; experiential education opportunities incorporated into core subjects. We are also proud to introduce Home ec and Industrial Arts programs which are now offered on-site or within the community. With a belief in holistic education our students are taught the importance of balance between physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional well being. Our students have daily phys.ed and are served breakfast and lunch based on Canada's Food Guide. Our goal is to provide quality instruction with the aim of student achievement that recognizes a variety of smarts from academics smarts, to physical, science, music, and math smarts.
