Welcome to Kikino School!  

Kikino School was built in 1989 and provided ECS to grade 6 education. Today, the school provides ECS to grade 8 education to approximately 100 students. Kikino School prides itself on delivering education that bridges curriculum and community. This is done through fine arts programming; our students learn traditional metis jig, fiddling, and guitar; partnerships with NLSD Real 8, experiential education opportunities; and trades training through the mobile CTS lab as well as partnerships with Dr. Swift School to deliver Industrial Arts as well as Home Economics programming. With a belief in holistic education our students are taught the importance of balance between physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional well being. Our students have daily phys.ed and are served breakfast and lunch based on the Canada Food Guide. Our goal is to provide quality instruction with the aim of student achievement that recognizes a variety of smarts from academics smarts, to physical, science, music, and math smarts.
